Echuca-Moama is famous for transporting visitors back in time as they become immersed in the history and atmosphere of our region.
Echuca – Moama comes from the aboriginal word meaning “meeting of the water”. We are one of Victoria’s oldest River towns and once the state’s most substantial inland River Port.
Make Echuca-Moama your base for a high energy, water based lifestyle. Our location is right on the Mighty Murray River and the closest Murray River settlement from Melbourne. Here you will be able to partake in many water based activities such as water skiing, swimming, boating and fishing which all makes for endless family fun and a lifetime of memories.
Echuca-Moama hosts a myriad of activities and festivals and at LJ Hooker Echuca we are involved in many community events throughout the year. Some of which include Teddy Bears Picnic, Cystic Fibrosis (65 Roses) BBQ, Turkish Bazaar, Cystic Fibrosis Easter Egg Hunt and Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape. Our office is also sponsors of the Echuca Cricket Club and St. Mary’s Fete.
Throughout the year our marquee is also at many local events and fundraisers – this is available to all members of the community holding fundraisers - and it’s free.
